Percy Jackson and the Olympians

i have to say, when it comes to books and movies about greek mythology, i am a sucker for any of it and PJO (Percy Jackson and the Olympians) is not an excuse! 

i havent read the books but i actually came across them in a bookstore but didnt really budge because i seriously thought it was one of those kidy-sunday-school version of greek mythology. i have yet to prove myself wrong when the movie hit the theaters.

I love Sherrilyn Kenyon books to life and death!

 

NOTE: just in case you dont know what kind of book are SK's, they are books inspired greatly by greek mythology and other mythologies created in the past civilizations with the modern twist

 and classic tales and schemes.

and i must say, the best experience i had in high school was when i portrayed HADES! oh the sheer joy of being the god of the underworld. reading again and again beautiful, spectacular, poetic,romantic, etc stories that captured much of my attention and adoring EVERYTHING GREEK!

and to be honest, one of my dreams is to act or be a part of a production of any greek mythology-inspired story and play a god part. whoo how i wish, hey a girl can dream.

 with that said, i can really tell you guys if the movie would be worth watching or if the book is worth reading. see, im not just a beauty blogger but also a movie junkie!
