This was a shoot I did for a local shoe company named MEJIA. I got so excited when my friend and very talented photographer, Anne, told me she recommended me as the Makeup artist and Hair stylist. It will be a breakthrough for me, I told myself. I will forever be thankful to Anne for getting me the job.
I was also quite astounded with the line-up of our team.
Our Models were:
Steffi Rose Aberasturi
(whom i worked with on the DollFace Cosmetics Shoot)
Radha Zabala
(BOMBSHELL!!)
Kara Mae Noveda
(Segment host/producer of ABS-CBN Central Visayas and an Editor of Suns Star Cebu)
And I have to say how incredibly beautiful these girls are. They definitely know how to work the camera.
Our stylist was Eloise Daniot.
She was very prepared for the shoot. The pieces she prepared were amazing! Very talented as well.
And, of course, our Photographer Anne Lorraine Uy.
No explanation needed. Seriously. AMAZING.
The look I did on Steffi was more on the youthful, glowy-skin kind. I kept everything fairly neutral and accentuated her skin more. I intensified the look and darkened the lips a tad more when it was getting darker outside.
On Radha, I went slightly more dramatic smokey eye. I was thinking Kim Kardashian and Angelina Jolie. This type of look suited her perfectly. She started off with nude lips and ended with a BANG, Red red lips.
The makeup I did for Miss Kara was something office material. Not too light but not too heavy either. I kept it neutral so it would match most of the outfits without much hassle.
Here's Anne!
I called her "My Litte Vampire" *rwar* LOL
Now, I will be showing you official photos from the shoot.
Don't forget to check out MEJIA's Page in Facebook!
I would like to say a BIG Thank you to owners of MEJIA (Justin Mae and Louise) for giving me this opportunity. It was a great experience. Also, To Anne. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't experience how great it is to do what you do best. I owe you :) And, to the rest of the crew. We did a very awesome job. Thank you guys.
And Thank you to you too for taking the time to read this.
This was one of the most challenging experience I've ever done and I hope I get the chance to be part of another experience like this.
