WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? - Colorismyweapon

Yes. This question may or may not have been plaguing your minds for quite a some time now, but either way, I'm here to give you a little enlightening. I figured my beloved readers needed a little explanation given the lack of videos and posts which I do feel really guilty about. 

If you didn't know ever since January this year, I decided to take on a corporate position in the Recruitment Department of a well established company in Cebu. My duties include handling and maintaining a source and at the same time, making sure that I live up to or exceed what is expected of me by virtue of my Job Description. Contrary to popular belief, our job entails a lot of physical and mental exertion, but I enjoyed what I was doing. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to apply for a higher post after only several months. 

But Yes, I was serious about it. 

One of the great things about our company is that we are performance based, so if you think that you can do it and your performance affirms that then no one will stop you. 

And to make the long story short, I got the position.

Right now, I'm slowly adjusting and transitioning to the new role. New duties and responsibilities are rolling in and not to mention many, many long nights in the office hence the lack of EVERYTHING from my channel, blog and other social media accounts. 

 I'll have to admit I feel very ecstatic and scared shitless at the same time. The future is promising and I am truly looking forward to it. 

With all that said, I just want you guys to know that despite the immense increase of work load, I'm never giving this up. 

I will keep the fire burning no matter what it takes. You can still watch out for YouTube Videos, Blog and Instagram Posts from me. It may take a while, but they will come for sure. Like what they say, 

"if there's a will, there's a way."

I owe a great deal of my success to the unwavering support you have given me through the years and I hope that, as I take on my corporate ambition, you would still be there to support me all the way. But at the same time, I will make it a point to always have time for my Beauty Blogger duties.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT for Halloween Looks

This announcement might be a disappointment to some of you and I am really sorry for that.

I have come to realize that i need to make better decisions for my channel and blog.

The looks i promised all of you for Halloween will not be pushed through.

Those looks can be reserved for later since they are quite wearable ones.

On the other hand since it's for halloween, the looks prepared are now more bold and more daring.

everything is done from scratch.

Halloween is a event in a year i DO NOT want to miss.

i celebrate it with friends who feel the same way.

and i L.O.V.E. TIM BURTON MOVIES :)

Halloween is a HUGE deal to me.

Because of that, i had to change the line up of the looks.

i really do hope you understand the changes i have made.

I will definitely put my BEST foot forward for this one.

UPCOMING Halloween Looks

hey gorgeous! :)

so, today i was super psyched and geared-up for my new series this month.

you might ask why am i so excited? well, because this time all my ideas came to me.

they just popped while i was listening to music.

for me, that means a whole lot because i need to be inspired to create the look.

i get frustrated when i dont like the job i've done.

this series would be a good one. i hope :)

so, anyway my next series would be about Halloween Looks!

i have 3 pending looks already and they are fabulous!! 

i can't tell you everything though but i'll give you hints since i soo love all of you.

2 of my looks are from HIT makers of our generation.

they both exude talent and art, most especially when they perform and the kind of MV's they make.

and the other one, is another famous person that the beauty community is greatly wow-ed by.

Rihanna in her music video "Te Amo"

the music video made me appreciate her a lot more because of the concept, the song and just the raw passion for the arts that she has. sad to say, the music industry is becoming more and more commercial these days just to gain more attention. which is highly profitable but for me, i'd go for the artsy side than making money.

this is such a bold DOMINATRIX look that is good for events but for halloween sake i'd make it bolder and a lot heavy.

For everyone who wants to look like rihanna or be rihanna on halloween, better watch out for this!

MAKEUP COLLECTION and BEAUTY NOOK

after the long wait, i have finally decided to make a makeup collection post!

JUST A QUICK REMINDER BEFORE I BEGIN

i am NOT bragging about stuff i own.

as a matter of fact you might just have loads more stuff than i do.

the point of me doing this is that i wanna share to you all my way of storage :)

i hope that's okay.

LET'S START!

my storage case! it's green and i love it :)

all my stuff fit there.

i dont have a lot! lol see told you

but then again, do not let that stop you.

BOTTOM DRAWER

these are blushes, powder and foundations.

ALL of these i use on clients :)

that is why it's in a separate drawer from the ones i use.

the brands differ. some local, some international.

but all i have there are earned from my hardwork and kind-hearted people ,who i love and believe in me so much, that gave me free stuff :)

SECOND DRAWER

eyeshadows, palettes, quads,trios, singles and such.

on the bottom there, you can see lipsticks i also use on clients and the shadows too i use on clients.

TOP DRAWER

these are all the stuff i use on myself and i love love love. :)

these are my babies.

not a lot but i love them non-the less

you have foundations, powders,shadows,blush,lipsticks, gloss and palettes i love.

i keep saying love right? lol

moving on to my desk.

just for the sake since i already show you my storage, i'll show you my nook :)

this is where the magic happens.

i have to be honest with you, i HAD to tidy up before i took this picture *wink

cute glasses right? i took it from my moms glass collection.

finally found a good use for the since they just sit there on the shelf. lol

liners, mascara,lash curler etc. things i need to get right then and there.

i opted for this option because it saves time especially in the morning.

face and hair? brushes.

this part of the nook shows my personality.

i love colors, flowers, the ocean and disney princesses.

the cute porcelain jar has all my contacts in there.

they need a safe and dry place to chill, so yeah thats the best place lol

To make it more faltering, i borrowed my sisters belt :)

update on my eating habits, i am officially an oats eater!

i decided to cut down on rice for breakfast and dinner.

lunch has to have rice in it!

but only 1 cup.

i'm eating loads of greens more now which is a good thing

hi gorgeous! :)

yesterday, i was so bored and didn't know what to do, i made a bridal/brides maid look

i'll be filming this probably around next week yet.

since i have family matters to attend to.

so, better wait for it!

i chose a purple shade because it compliments brown eyes and accentuates them quite nicely :)

BOUGHT NEW SCHOOL SHOES!

yey!

super excited to wear them.

yearly i often buy new school shoes and i always get excited.

i am a very picky shoe picker *huh?* anyway, i look for shoes that represents my personality best.

i'm not very technical though. it just comes out naturally.

so, here it is!

the buttons on the side got my attention.

they remind me of tennis shoes which are so cute.

isn't it cute? i think it is. lol

the heel isn't so tall though.

thats because i have to go back and forth on flights of stairways.

it wouldn't be good for your back when you keep walking on heels.

i dont wanna ruin my back -_-

also, the thick heels help you walk more comfortably too.

i cant wait to wear them! with my uniform of course.

its more cost efficient and i'll be hitting 2 birds with one stone. =)

its not being lazy at all, im just being practical.
